The "out-of-home" access would constantly complain about not being active, even though I specifically set up port-forwarding correctly. (This I know how to do.) Then, the next day, OOH was fine, according to the tests. I talked to a CSR today and the said I could get a GenieGo for 1/2 price off the $99 asking price. Is it worth the price, what are the pros and cons. I know they just released the android app the other day. DIRECTV Genie Minis are the essential counterpart to the Genie. These receivers allow the entire home to be powered with DIRECTV service. These little guys sure pack a punch! The next-generation minis (or clients) allow you to operate every TV in the home as if it was a full size Genie – features and all!
