Jul 12, 2012 · Essentially, on successful authentication, an applet starts running which establishes the VPN connection till it is closed. A great idea and it works mostly, but here’s the problem: DOES NOT WORK ON 64 BIT UBUNTU! I dug in a bit and found that the applet does not run on 64-bit JVMs. Wow!!! Anyway, had to find a solution.

Juniper is no longer providing updates or support for that software, therefore we recommend that you uninstall that software (if you have it installed) and use the Pulse Secure software going forward.
