windows 7 ping cannot find host but ip address works

But if I do it from any other server it finds it and if I type in ping -a 10.4.0.13 it resolves it by name. H:\>ping -a 10.4.0.13-----Ping -a is to resolve an IP address to a hostname. You should just do: ping asmith, not "ping -a asmith".
